| Karnival BEST 2011 is organized by Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM) Family, Social & Community Division. It will be held at Laman 1Malaysia, Presint 2, Putrajaya from 28 – 30 October 2011. This event which is also supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Malaysia, Ministry of Health Malaysia, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development Malaysia, Malaysian Federal Territory of Islamic Affairs Department (JAWI), Royal Malaysian Police Force (PDRM) and Putrajaya Corporation is expected to be officiated by Minister in the Prime Minister Department, Dato' Seri Jamil Khir bin Baharom. |

| Objective |

Through the carnival, Jakim will practice guidelines in accordance with the teachings of Islam. - One of the activity during the carnival is BEST! Consert slot, the concert will practice guidelines in accordance
with the teachings of Islam.
- The Islamic Entertaiment Guidelines is a guide to the artist and to educate in accordance with the teachings
of Islam to meet syariah compliance and able to educate human being.
- BEST! Carnival and concert will be preparing a new mechanism with the intention to increase the local
entertainment dignity direction and giving positive effect.
- Visitors during concert take place will be sorted according to male category, woman and family. Indirectly
would be minimised social intercourse between males and females and avoid social delinquent.
- Visitors will get information on social problems because there will be informative booths from
government agency and non-governmental bodies during that programme take place.
- At the same time, objective to make Putrajaya zero vice will come true.
- With this program implemented, are expected to provide a new alternative for Muslims to enjoy and
deal with the world of modern music. |
